We’ve Moved!

The work on the new site is finished and I know there are some wordpress followers on here who don’t follow us on social sites.

Come on over to www.entitledgamers.co.uk and sign up to the new site, we have a forum to chat with other like minded gamers as well as the usual news and opinions your used to.

We’ll probably keep this site open for another couple of weeks so the last few stragglers can make their way across and it’ll be deleted, i’d say its sad to see it go but to be honest, its not really.

Thanks for your support,

Big changes coming soon

Entitled Gamers is expanding. We’re excited to announce that we are undergoing some big changes in the way that we deliver our content. Unfortunately we’re a small team and this will limit the amount of posts we can make, it’ll be worth it in the end, we promise!

We’d like to thank you for all your support, while Entitled Gamers is just a hobby, we wouldn’t bother if nobody read our posts.

Like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter to stay up to date with our changes. Thanks again.

The Last of Us keeps the top spot. The Monday charts.

For the third week running, The Last of Us has deservedly kept it’s the position at the top of the UK retail chart. I’m expecting it to claim the top spot for another few weeks to come at least. New entries include: Minecraft at #2, Deadpool at #6 and proving that PC retail is not quite dead yet, are The Sims 3: Island Paradise at #5 and Company of Heroes 2 at #10.

No Halo 3 or Assassin’s Creed 2 for Xbox Live gold members this month.

ImageAt E3, mere weeks ago, Microsoft announced that it would begin giving away games to Xbox Live Gold members on a monthly basis, and that the promotion would be starting off with free downloads of Halo 3 and Assassin’s Creed 2.

But then, why have all you Xbox LIVE Gold members not been given your free copies then? Well, in what appears to be part of the recurring theme of ‘Don’t trust anything that Microsoft said at E3’, the game that will be kicking off the promotion is actually ‘Defense Grid: The Awakening’ – an XBLA game, worth 800 microsoft points.

On closer inspection, it would appear that Microsoft has once again lawyered the world out of something that we thought we had been promised. At E3, Microsoft merely stated that Halo 3 and Assassin’s Creed 2 would be available for free at some point. Not necessarily any time soon.

So if you were hoping to jump back into Halo 3 any time soon… well just put the disk in your xbox, because who seriously doesn’t own Halo 3 already?

The Last of Us patched, removes inappropriate phone numbers and tweaks multiplayer

So it seems that the sexy phone numbers which were ‘accidentally’ posted on the walls across post-apocalyptic USA. I mean of all the phone numbers you could have made up, the ‘made up’ one which just happened to be for a sex line. Sounds to me like they underestimated the curiosity of the gamer.

Or our inability to spot a sex line.
